Applying to perform in The NYC Veterans Day Parade

The New York City Veterans Day Parade invites marching bands (and all student performance groups ) to be part of the largest celebration of service in America. This “Veterans Day USA” parade is the oldest and largest parade of its kind in the United States. The patriotic event features more than 40,000 participants, including veterans of all eras along with veteran supporters. They are accompanied by music performed by top high school bands from around the country.

Bands march up historic Fifth Avenue past iconic landmarks such as the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center and Saint Patrick’s Cathedral as 500,000 spectators cheer them on. The NYC Veterans Day Parade is traditionally broadcast live on television, streamed live online around the world, and shown on Armed Forces TV. A highlights program is also shown later in the week in major cities across the USA.

New York City is a destination unlike any other, offering band members the opportunity to visit world-class museums and monuments along with exciting Broadway productions.

NYC Group Tours, the official travel sponsor, invites bands to apply to participate in the most popular and meaningful Veterans Day parade in America.

YOUR STUDENTS ARE THE VISION OF OUR FUTURE!

I wanted to send you a quick thank you for such a wonderful experience. Our students and parents had such an amazing time. Your company did a wonderful job organizing a trip that will surely be one the students will never forget...The chance to march down 5th Ave in honor of our Veterans is surely a performance our students will never forget. They will be more patriotic and humble citizens having had that experience.

The parade was the highlight of our trip. The response from the military members, active and veteran, along the parade route was amazing – so positive and appreciative. The local New Yorkers in attendance were the same way. Truly an emotional and uplifting experience and we're so proud to have been part of it.
